JatoTech Ventures Appoints Technical Advisory Board; Texas-Based Venture Capital Firm Taps Industry Leaders as Advisors

AUSTIN, Texas, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- JatoTech Ventures, an Austin, Texas-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology-based ventures, has appointed a technical advisory board to serve as a resource for evaluating specific market opportunities, according to Walt Thirion and Molly Pieroni, partners.

The role of the new board will be to provide investment origination and assessment, as well as business, market and technology due diligence for prospective portfolio companies.

Members of JatoTech's technical advisory board are:

        Calif.;
    --  Rich Seifert, President, Networks and Communications Consulting, Los
        Gatos, CA, is a leader in the networking and communications space and
        a member of the IEEE Standards Committee, which promotes the
        engineering process of electrical and information technologies and
        sciences; and
    --  Ian Crayford, Director of Business Development, Broadcom Corp., San
        Jose, Calif., the leading provider of highly integrated silicon
        solutions that enable broadband digital transmission of voice, video
        and data.
